Hollywood has come to Collingwood (Melbourne AUS). All films below are created and produced by Hollywood Actor Lab director James Huang. James is a filmmaker with 3 feature films that have landed distribution to cinemas and theatres and will bring out your best work to showcase your talent with tailor made films and reels. We produce, help write, shoot, and edit your original showreel scenes for your casting profiles. Or create an original short film that you can take to festivals as your ultimate, award winning showcase film. 3 OPTIONS:
3 SHOWREEL SCENES w/ Soft Focus Media (tier 1)
Our long running collaboration with Soft Focus Media has produced 80 SHOWREEL scenes for actors since we began in Melbourne in 2022. Must be 3 scenes per day for full day hire which can be split among actors. See our many samples in the player below for the most cinematic professional scenes to spotlight exactly how actors shine on screen at their best with top pro cinematographer David Chan.
1 SHOWCASE SCENE (tier 2)
*New Offering: SHOWCASE scene: Performance reel shot beautifully and simply with natural lighting and offers a quick delivery and easy scheduling 1 scene at a time with a more budget friendly option. See below for more Showcase samples. Filmed & edited by by director James Huang. Typically shot and delivered in 1 week.
PROFESSIONAL FILMMAKING (full day hire)
PROFESSIONAL: Cinematic filmmaking w/ SOFT FOCUS MEDIA. Full day filming hire to shoot 3 separate reel scenes in 1 day or short film shoot (See below for more info and films) Sample: ‘Run-Sequence’ was a 2 day shoot. Director James Huang & Cinematographer David Chan.

SHOWREELS collaboration with Soft Focus Media (full hired professional production days at $2,400 per day - 3 total scenes per day can be shared by 6 at $800 per scene at $400 per actor
SHOWCASE scenes - paired down simpler shoots with director James Huang. 1 scene scneduled and delivered quickly on a buget at $500 per scene or $250 per actor

Fight Reels are a full day hire to choreograph, rehearse and shoot. Day rate includes editing, colour and sound effects.
Your showreel experience will be a memorable one with a professional director/ acting coach and cinematographer.
